Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect during my first massage therapy visit?

During your first visit, your massage therapist will ask you about your medical history, any current symptoms you may be experiencing, and what you hope to achieve through massage therapy. They will also explain the massage process and answer any questions you may have.

How often should I get a massage?

The frequency of massage therapy depends on your individual needs and goals. Some people benefit from weekly sessions, while others may only need a massage once a month or less.

Do I have to be completely naked during a massage?

You never have to take off more than you are comfortable with to receive a massage. Clothing can sometimes hinder certain techniques but talk with your therapist and they will adapt to your needs.
Regardless of whether you choose to maintain some clothing or not, your massage therapist will always ensure that you are properly covered.

Where are you located?

We are located in downtown Mount Pleasant, MI at 206 W Michigan Street. This is a shared building with other businesses such as Mt Pleasant Martial Arts. We are on the Ground floor level, and the easiest way to get to us is to enter through the east door, then take an immediate left into the lobby area. You will see our logo on the window as well as on the interior door to the waiting area.

Do you have a receptionist?

We do not have a receptionist at this time. Before your appointment, you may receive a text asking you to click a link to check in when you arrive, this informs the therapist by text that you are here and waiting!  If for some reason you do not receive these texts or do not see anyone in the office, we ask that you just wait patiently for a few minutes in the waiting area, as the therapist may be finishing up with the previous client. You may also call or text us at our business line (989) 300-1370 if you are waiting more than 5-10 minutes.
